COLLAGEN INDUCTION

COLLAGEN INDUCTION

COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY (CIT) TREATMENT

Is used to build up the connective tissue in the lower dermal layers of the skin, while keeping the protective epidermal layers of the skin intact. During this process, old collagen strands are broken up, thus stimulating production of new elastin fibers. CIT is the only skin rejuvenation treatment to target and regulate the following three key skin cells: keratinocyte, melanocyte and fibroblast, without compromising the integrity of the epidermis.

MICRO NEEDLING

Works better than a laser to stimulate collagen production in target areas. This collagen production fills in fine lines and acne scars, tightens loose skin and minimizes enlarged pores. Due to its small size, micro needling is ideal for upper lip wrinkles and crow’s feet. Micro needling is recommended over laser treatments since lasers use high heat that can damage healthy tissue, causing additional pain and more downtime than CIT. Micro needling is recommended for men and women with moderate to severe aging wrinkles. The skin will continue to improve over time since the procedure stimulates natural collagen and elastin production.

RESULTS

Are smoother, thicker, tighter and more even toned skin. Additionally, this treatment is regenerative in healing, producing Type III Collagen. Type lll Collagen is healthy collagen that builds upwards, which offers a great alternative for those wanting to avoid facial injections, e.g., JUVÉDERM® , Restylane® and/or BOTOX® Cosmetic. One to six treatments may be required, with once or twice a year maintenance depending on the area and desired result. The new foundations received from each treatment are permanent and can continue producing results for up to six months.
